Walter Sweet
Walter Sweet (Vice President, Rockefeller phianthropy Advisors)
Walter oversees RPA’s foundations services and sponsored project teams.
These teams support RPA engagements with foundations and major donors across programs
in health, community development, education, and entrepreneurship. Previously, he served as a program officer at the New York Community Trust, the nation’s largest community foundation. As Budget and Special Projects Officer for The New York Community Trust, Walter developed a $30 million annual grants budget; conducted special project grantmaking and monitored and evaluated programmatic activities. Further, he served as the emergency grants program officer for the September 11th Fund, a joint fund of The New York Community Trust and The United Way of New York City.
Prior to joining Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, he was Vice President of SASI where he managed contractual agreements for international joint ventures and new business development, including with the U. S. Federal government and military operations. Walter holds a Bachelor’s degree in American History from Columbia University and is past board member of the Nonprofit Coordinating Committee of New York, the Business Outreach Center Network, and Columbia University’s Advisory Committee on Socially Responsible Investing. Walter has been interviewed by national publications including The Wall Street Journal and The Financial Times. He has appeared on television networks such as MSNBC News and regularly serves on panels of philanthropic experts.

Kwang-Taek Lee
Kwang-Taek Lee (Professor of law at the Kookmin University)
  • Prof. LEE Kwang-Taek is professor of law at the Kookmin University since 1994. He graduated from the college of law at Seoul National University, and got his Dr. jur at the University of Bremen in Germany. He is a distinctive professional on labor and social issues at national and international level while he works as a founding member of the Korea Labor Institute, and the former presidents of the Korean Society for Labour Law(KSLL), the Korean Industrial Relations Research Association (KIRRA), and the Korean Association of Social Security Law(KASSL). Prof. LEE is the Vice President and the Executive Committee Member of the Geneva-based International Society for Labour and Social Security Law(ISL&SSL), He was a member of Labor Policy Advisory Committee of the National Assembly, Policy Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Labor and a Conciliator at the National Human Rights Commission of Korea (NHRCK). Prof. LEE was a member of the National Movement Committee for Overcoming Unemployment in 1998, and has been working since 2003 as a board member of the Work Together Foundation(WTF), the successor of the NMCOU. The WTG carries our diverse projects to promote social entrepreneurship through incubating and supporting social enterprise, including advocacy, campaigns and fundraising. He organized the biannial Asian Social Entrepreneurs Summit in Seoul since 2008. Now he is a member of the Organizing Committee of the Social Enterprise World Forum to be held in Seoul in October 2014.

  • A pioneer and serial entrepreneur in various fields, from wealth management to social enterprises to global movements. Founder, Social Innovation Park, which is responsible for an 8-part TV program, significant forums and social innovators platforms. Also co-founded the Social Enterprise Association.

    A veteren Singapore Member of Parliament who helped build the first eco-town in the tropics, she sits on many national committees covering the ministries of finance, trade and industry, education, information, arts and youth. She is a veteran with the Government Parliamentary Committee fro the Ministry of Communications and Information, and previously chaired the GPC for MICA.

    Penny coverd > 70 countries and published various articles and an award-winning book: 'Practising Sustainability'. She is frequently interviewed and speaks at significant global platforms including Davos WEF, World Knowledge Forum, Global ReDesign Council, ISO, and inter-parliamentary conferences. Sits on global boards of The Dubai Hub, Larta Institute, Operation Hope, and the Commonwealth Business Council, National Youth Achievement Award Council Advisory Board, etc.

    Recipient of awards, including the prestigious WEF’s New Asian Leaders and the Young Global Leaders, a Founding Curator of the Global Shapers Community, Aspen Ideas Festival Scholar, Yale World Fellow. She has been listed in Singapore Tatler's Top 300, and is an alumnus of NUS, Harvard, Yale and Tsinghua University.

    Penny is an avid explorer and hitch-hiker who has covered more than 70 countries and thousands of cities and towns. Combined with her background in economics and sociology, this has given her keen insight and emerging trends.

    AHN Jae Woong
    AHN Jae Woong (The Chair of the Board of Directors of the Dasomi Foundation)
    • The Rev. AHN Jae-Woong is the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Dasomi Foundation and the President of the National Council of YMCAs of Korea. HE is the International Member of Selection Committee for the Niwano Peace Prize in Tokyo. HE is a former Executive Director of the Work Together Foundation, also the Executive Director of the Christian Institute for the Study of Justice and Development, and General Secretary of the Korea Student Christian Federation. He served as the Regional Secretary for the Asia-Pacific Region of the World Student Christian Federation as well as the General Secretary of the Christian Conference of Asia. Both offices are based in HongKong. The Rev. AHN is the Founder of the Asian Migrant Centre in Hong Kong, also the Korea Campaign to Ban Landmines in Seoul. He was the Chair of the Ecumenical Coalition on Tourism, and the Chair of the Documentation for Action Groups in Asia, as well as the Chair of the Asia-Pacific Regional Committee of the World Student Christian Federation. All the organizations are based in Hong Kong. The Rev. AHN was a Visiting Professor of Theology in the United Graduate School of Theology at Hoseo University and a Lecturer in the Graduate School of Theology at Han Shin University. After graduating from Soonsil University (B.A), AHN went on to obtain an M. Div., from the Divinity School at Harvard University in the United States.

    Min-Ho Park

    • Min-Ho Park is head of Asset Management Division(CIO) at Teachers Pension (TP). Mr. Min-Ho Park has been in finance industry for more than two decades as an economist, analyst and strategist. He joined Teachers’ Pension in July 2001 as a strategist and he has led the Investment Strategy Team since 2008. And in year 2013, he was promoted to lead the Asset Management Division(CIO). With his extensive background as an economist, analyst and strategist, he was the cornerstone to incorporate ALM in to TP’s asset allocation strategy. Moreover, Mr. Park has been successful on transforming TP’s conservative investment profile to more return oriented one. Before joining TP, Mr. Park was a senior researcher at Jangeun Securities and Hana Economic Research Institute. And Head of Equity Research at Kyobo Securities. Mr. Park received a BA in Economics from Seoul National University.

    Jung-Su Han (the head of Domestic Equity Investment Division in National Pension Service.)
    • Jung-Su Han is the head of Domestic Equity Investment Division in National Pension Service. He joined NPS in 1999 as a PM in Domestic Fixed Income Investment Team where he focused on Treasury. In 2001, he had widened his investment skills at Investment Strategy Team, and then he became the head of Risk Management Team in 2009. Then, in 2011, he led External Fund management Team in Domestic Equity Division. Prior to joining NPS, he started out his career as a risk manager from Daehan Investment Trust Corporation. He received a degree of B.A. in public administration from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies.
